Erinda Shah, Founder and Managing Director of MHFA India, has garnered over 24 years of
rich experience in the development field. She has been involved in the national reform of
decentralization and deinstitutionalization of the mental health system in Albania, a WHO and
Government of Albania initiative. For almost a decade, she has been engaged with various
organisations in India like UNICEF, ActionAid, and The Banyan, which has enriched her
understanding of social issues in the country. She is inspired to work in the human rights
domain, with a special focus on children.
