These MHFA teaching notes are for use only by currently accredited ‘Blended Mental Health First Aid Course for Workplaces’ Instructors. They must be used with the corresponding Edition 4 Standard MHFA PPT slides and film clips. These teaching notes may not be photocopied or circulated to any other people.
The information provided in this course is for general mental health first aid only and is not intended to be, and should not be, relied upon as a substitute for specific professional medical advice.

Note to the Instructor-Learners
The content here corresponds to the flow of the training you will eventually deliver if you qualify as an MHFA Instructor. After every module there will be revision exercises that you need to clear before you move on to the next module. As you go through the instructor material, you will also engage in some activities which will be similar to the Blended MHFA Course for Workplaces that you will deliver to the trainees.
Once you complete the modules, Part B will have the Complete Instructor’s Notes with all the materials that you can use to deliver the training, if you qualify as an MHFA Instructor.
